BELLVILLE FFA AG SALES TEAM PLACES SECOND AT NATIONALS; CHAPTER CONDUCTING TEAM IN FINALS

  

The Bellville FFA Chapter’s Ag Sales Team finished among the country’s best at the National FFA Convention and Expo this week in Indianapolis.

The team placed in second as Reserve National Champion and had two individuals finish top 10 in the nation.  Jaylen Tesch was fifth and Maddison Diezi was seventh.  Tesch and Diezi were also recognized as gold emblem individuals along with Ainsley Hancock and Jack Luedeker.

The Ag Sales Team, led by instructor Christi Tobola, competed against 42 other teams in activities such as a virtual team activity, a test over sales concepts, and performing individual sales calls and customer service calls.

Meanwhile, Bellville FFA’s Chapter Conducting Team advanced to the finals out of 44 other teams, and results are being announced today (Friday).  Its activities include a 25 question test over a mix of the FFA manual and Robert’s Rules of Order, as well as completing a mock business meeting and showing how to properly hold a meeting.

The Chapter Conducting Team is made up of Katelyn Krenek, Darcy Luedke, Layne Malinowski, Levi Malinowski, Maddie McCullough, Katie Schumann, Shane Sturm, Matthew Wybro and instructor Rod Vincent.
