ROUND TOP-CARMINE TAKES HOME SEVERAL ALL-DISTRICT AWARDS
The District 28-A All-District Honors have been announced and the Round Top-Carmine Cubettes were well represented.
Mallory Krause was named as the District Overall MVP.
The Setter MVP went to Jill Eilers.
Co-Offensive MVPs went to Tess Eilers and Kaysie Ward.
Defensive MVP was awarded to Maggie Salinas.
1st Team All District Honors went to Jessica Rohde and Kim Rohde.
Honorable Mention went to Avery Nelius.
RTC, who won the District Championship, finished their season making it to the Region Finals on Saturday before falling to Neches. At the Region Tournament, which was held in Brenham, Krause finished by recording both her eighth and ninth triple-doubles of the season. While, Jill Eilers recorded her second triple-double of the season against D'Hanis in the semifinals.
The Cubettes finished with a record of 36-8.
