WASHINGTON CO. CHAMBER TAKING ANNUAL AWARD NOMINATIONS THROUGH THURSDAY

  

Nominations are due tomorrow (Thursday) for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards program.

Anyone seeking to nominate candidates for the Man and Woman of the Year, Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, New Business of the Year and Nonprofit of the Year must do so by 5 p.m. tomorrow.

Nomination forms can be found at the Chamber office at 314 South Austin Street in Brenham and online at www.brenhamtexas.com.  Previous years’ nominations may be considered if they are resubmitted by the deadline.

Award winners will be announced and recognized at the Chamber/Brenham Economic Development Foundation Banquet on Thursday, February 1^st at 5:30 p.m. at the Fireman’s Training Center in Brenham.  The featured speaker for the event will be Dr. Frank B. Ashley III, acting dean of the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.

Also at the banquet, the Chamber and EDF will recognize outgoing members of their boards of directors.  In addition, the Chamber will name its Board Member of the Year and Blue Blazer of the Year.
