The BVR Collection/Transfer Station in Brenham will be closed to the public again today (Tuesday).

City of Brenham Public Works Director Dane Rau said BVR anticipates a late start today related to the commercial and residential solid waste and recycling routes.

This comes after the Collection/Transfer Station was closed and residential trash and recycling collection were cancelled on Monday, moving all residents back a day for service.

  1. We didn’t have our trash nor our recycling picked up. (Monday schedule–didn’t get trash picked up the day after … didn’t get normal recycling picked up on the 16th.) This has happened to us way to many times and there’s no way to deal with it since it’s all on the city bill. This stinks—literally.
