“LITTLE MERMAID” AT BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL
The Brenham High School Theatre Arts Department will be performing Disney’s “Little Mermaid” musical over the next several days. The musical is performed with a live orchestra that is made up mostly of students. The play is about a mermaid named Ariel, who dreams of the world above the sea and gives up her voice to find true love. It has a large cast that includes the popular characters such as Ariel, King Triton, Sebastain, Ursula, and Prince Eric. The musical contains popular songs such as “Under the Sea” and “Kiss the Girl”.
The musical will be performed Thursday through Saturday at 7:00 PM and matinee performances Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased on line at cubcompany.booktix.net or at the door. The musical will be performed at the High School Auditorium.
The Brenham High School Theatre Arts Department did an absolutely AMAZING job with this show! I hope that everyone was able to come out and support these fantastic thespians! We were just amazed at the talent on that stage and had a hard time believing that this was a high school production! From the actors, the student orchestra, the crew and the directors – they were all so great! Shout out to Mrs. Freeman and Ms. Patch for a job well done!!!! We cannot wait until the next production!!!!
