AREA GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYOFF PICTURE

Tonight (Tuesday) is the final night of the regular season for Girls High School Basketball. Here is a look at the playoff picture for teams around the area.

District 12-6A

The Bryan Lady Vikings are a half game behind Waco Midway for first place. Midway has already wrapped up their season, and has a bye this (Tuesday) evening. If Bryan beats Harker Heights, they will be Co-District Champions. If they lose, they will still finish in second place.

District 22-4A

Taylor has clinched the District Championship. La Grange has clinched second place. Giddings and Smithville are tied for third. Caldwell is fifth, but only one game behind Giddings and Smithville. If Giddings beats Caldwell tonight (Tuesday), Caldwell is eliminated. However, if Caldwell wins, they would have to go to the tiebreakers.

District 25-4A

Navasota has clinched the District Championship. Meanwhile, Sealy has clinched second place, Wharton is third place, and Bellville is fourth place.

District 23-3A

Anderson-Shiro has clinched the District Championship

District 25-3A

Columbus and Yoakum are tied for fourth place. Both teams are one game behind Tidehaven for third place.

District 29-A

Round-Top Carmine, North Zulch, and Fayetteville have all clinched playoff spots. The results from tonight's (Tuesday's) games will determine placing. Meanwhile, Richards has clinched the fourth playoff spot.
