NINE BRENHAM FFA MEMBERS COMPETE IN SAN ANTONIO

  

Nine Brenham FFA Members competed with their American Heifers at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. 

It was a big day for McKenzie Tiemann, whose Brangus Female won First Place in Class, Champion Calf Division, and Reserve Grand Champion.

Calvin Wunderlich finished Second in Class and Reserve Junior Division for his Santa Gertrudis.

Madison Moran won Second Place in Class for her ARB, while her brother, Dawson Moran, finished in Sixth Place in Class with his Brangus.

Chasidy Nowicki placed Eighth in Class for her ARB.

Kate Martin was Eighth Place in Class for her Simbrah.

Rounding out the participants, Michael Kettler was Eleventh Place in Class for his  Brangus, Grasyn Hinze had the Eleventh Place in Class Brahman, and Morgan Westerfeld had the Eleventh Place in Class in Beefmaster.

In addition to that, Michael Kettler & Dawson Moran also each caught a calf at the San Antonio Calf Scramble.

Both received a $2,000 certificate to purchase a registered beef heifer to show at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo next year.
