KILLEEN ELLISON ENDS THE SEASON FOR THE CUBS 82-50
The season came to an end last (Tuesday) night for the Brenham Cub Basketball Team as they fell to the Killeen Ellison Eagles 82-50 in the Bi-District Round of the playoffs.
Ellison took control early with a 17-10 first quarter. They would follow with a 23-11 second quarter, and take a 40-21 lead into the locker room at half time.
Brenham had trouble getting out of the gate in the second half, as the Eagles won the third quarter as well 25-11 to extend their lead to 65-32.
The fourth was the only one that the Cubs outscored Ellison 18-17.
Elijah Ferguson led Brenham with 17 points.
The game was the final one for Seniors Brayln Ragston, Diego Estrada, and Jmauri Kelly.
The Cubs finish the season with a 24-10 record, and having made the playoffs for the first time in seven years.
