The Cubettes got on the board early and often. In the first inning, Sarah Mabie singled to center, and came home to score on an RBI double by Annie Beckendorf. Avery Maurer followed with an RBI triple to score Beckendorf which gave Brenham a 2-0 after just half an inning.
