NAVASOTA MAYOR EARNS TML CERTIFICATION AT MID-YEAR CONFERENCE

Navasota Mayor Bert Miller recently participated in the Texas Municipal League Midyear Conference in San Marcos.
Miller was one of more than 275 elected and appointed officials and staff from cities throughout Texas that took part in the event.
The conference provided city leaders with a strategic look at the top issues affecting their cities and the state of Texas, and gave them an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge of municipal governance.
Participants discussed economic growth and job creation, needed infrastructure to improve the water supply statewide, disaster and emergency management and resources, the impact of population growth on transportation, and meeting the demand for power.
While at the TML conference, Mayor Miller earned the designation of Certified Municipal Officer after completing 72 hours of continuing education, which included open government training.
The City of Navasota congratulated Miller for completing his certification.
The Navasota Mayor gets award and Hempstead Mayor gets jail cause he lined his pockets and his friends pockets. What I am amazed at how did the city council not know what he was doing? Congratulations Mayor Bert.
