BURTON FFA WILDLIFE TEAM HEADED TO STATE

  

The Burton FFA Wildlife Team has punched its ticket to state competition for the third straight year.

Team members placed first in Area XI and fifth in Region III during the Wildlife and Recreation Management Career Development Event on Thursday at the Welder Wildlife Foundation in Sinton. 

In Area XI, Zane Aschenbeck was the High Point Individual, Matt Roemer was the 7th High Point Individual, Avianna Triplett was the 8th High Point Individual and Brady Griffin was the 21st High Point Individual.  Aschenbeck was also the 6th High Individual in the region.

Sixty-four teams competed in the region with 226 individuals.

The state wildlife contest will take place on April 22nd at the Texas Tech Center in Junction.
