BRENHAM ISD TO HOST ‘A DINNER TO REMEMBER’ THURSDAY AT FIREMAN’S TRAINING CENTER

The annual showcase of Brenham ISD student artwork is taking on a new look this year.

Eli Hodges displays his painting, titled "La Vista" at
the 2023 Arts and Appetizers fundraiser at Ant
Street Inn. The event is now called "A Dinner to
Remember" and has expanded to the Fireman's
Training Center.

“A Dinner to Remember”, hosted by the Brenham ISD Education Foundation, is set for tomorrow (Thursday) starting at 5:30 p.m.

Formerly known as “Arts and Appetizers”, the event is moving over from the Ant Street Inn in downtown Brenham to the Fireman’s Training Center.

Education Foundation Vice President Anthony Jasinski, speaking last month on KWHI’s Community Corner, said the event is evolving in order to support even more students.

The evening’s activities will include dinner, prize drawings, and live and silent auctions to bid on projects created by emerging student artists.

Last year’s “Arts and Appetizers” event raised $82,915, supporting local art students and programs.  It also helps the Brenham ISD Education Foundation give back to local teachers and classrooms via mini-grants.

Presenting sponsor for “A Dinner to Remember” is BRIANNAS.

Seats are sold out for the event, but auction items and student artwork can be bid on through the event website, which is linked here.
