Some of the business to be discussed in work session will include the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street exhibition coming to Brenham this December, Visit Brenham’s application for recognition as an inaugural Texas Tourism Friendly Community, and Visit Brenham’s second-quarter Fiscal Year report.

Talks are also expected on the formation of a short-term rental group consisting of hospitality owners that would set up regular meetings.  In addition, board members will hear about a new tourism grant application being developed by the county’s tourism grant funding committee.

The board will meet Thursday at 9 a.m. in Morriss Hall at The Barnhill Center.
