FOUR SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Four people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st District Court before Judge Reva Towslee Corbett.
36-year-old Xavier Roshaun Turner of Chappell Hill had his probation adjudicated and was sentenced to 3 years in prison on three counts of Assault of a Public Servant, a third degree felony. He was also sentenced to 12 months in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a state jail felony.
42-year-old Raul Angulo of Brenham and 43-year-old Arturo Martinez of Brenham were each sentenced to 104 days in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a state jail felony.
30-year-old Joel Moracen Zamora of Austin was sentenced to 4 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Fraudulent Possession/Use of Credit or Debit Card 5-10, a third degree felony. Zamora was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.
