CANDIDATES FORUM TUESDAY FOR HOUSE DISTRICT 12 RACE

  

KWHI will air a Candidates Forum next week for the two candidates in the Republican primary runoff election for Texas House District 12.

The forum will be broadcast from the KWHI studios on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

Ben Bius will be live in studio to take questions from the news media and from the listening audience. Trey Wharton is unable to attend the evening forum in person, but will answer questions in a pre-recorded interview that will play following the program with Bius.

Listeners are encouraged to submit questions in advance for the candidates by emailing mail@kwhi.com.

The forum can be heard on AM 1280, FM 101.7, kwhi.com and via the KWHI mobile app.

Wharton and Bius advanced to a runoff after being the top two candidates of the three that ran in the March 5th primary for the seat held by Kyle Kacal, who did not seek re-election as state representative.

The winner of the runoff will face Democrat Dee Howard Mullins and Libertarian Robert Profili in November.

Early voting for the runoff election runs from May 20-24. Election Day is Tuesday, May 28th.
