KRUSE VILLAGE RECEIVES NATIONAL QUALITY AWARD

Kruse Village in Brenham has been named a 2024 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award.

The honor comes from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).  It recognizes skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities for their commitment to improving the lives of seniors with quality care and services.

Kruse Village, managed by Health Dimensions Group, is one of 525 skilled nursing facilities across the United States to achieve the Bronze award this year.  The Bronze award is the first of three levels of the AHCA/NCAL’s National Quality Award Program, which reviews and evaluates providers against a set of nationally recognized standards for organizational excellence.

Kruse Village Executive Director Megan Burch says she is proud of the passion shown by team members for “achieving continuous quality improvement that elevates our residents’ health and wellness.”  She says they are already working toward the advanced performance levels that meet the criteria for the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award.

AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Board Chair Cathy Bergland says receiving the award “marks the beginning of an exciting journey towards excellence.”  She congratulates Kruse Village and encourages the provider to “continue striving for higher levels of quality and performance.”

Kruse Village will be presented with the Bronze award during the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo in Orlando, Florida on October 8th.
