A GoFundMe has been created by the family of Kay Eldridge, who was hospitalized and later passed away after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday.

DPS reports that Eldridge was attempting to turn onto Highway 290 from William B. Travis Lane when her vehicle was struck by another car headed eastbound on Highway 290.

Eldridge, who was from Lafayette, Indiana, was 70 years old.  Called “Grandma Kay” in the online fundraiser, family members shared on social media that she was in Texas visiting.

The GoFundMe is to assist Eldridge’s family in transporting her back to Indiana for burial at the West Lebanon Cemetery.
