POLSKI DZIEN JUNE 21-22 IN BREMOND

  

The Polish Capital of Texas will pay tribute to its roots next weekend during the Bremond Chamber of Commerce’s annual Polski Dzien.

The festival will take place next Friday and Saturday, June 21st and 22nd, in downtown Bremond.  Live music, dancing, shopping, games, and many other activities will be in store to celebrate Polish heritage.  

Friday’s events will include a domino tournament and a talent show, along with music from Walt Harfman, the Dujka Brothers and DJ Jarvis Jones.

Saturday will have the Polish Pickle Run, a car show, a barbecue cook-off, volleyball, basketball, washers and a parade. 

Entertainment that day will be provided by Jim Mazurkiewicz, The Moravians, the Jagoda Polish Folk Dancers, the Ennis Czech Boys, the Texas Czech Legacy Band, Ed Kopecky and Texas Remedy.

KTEX-106’s Eilish and Cowboy Dave will be broadcasting live from the parade next Saturday in the KTEX Country Cruiser.
