BRENHAM POLICE ARREST TWO PEOPLE ON WARRANTS

  

Two people were arrested for active warrants in separate incidences Wednesday.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday morning at 10:00, Officers responded to a residence located in the in the 700 Block of East Germania Street in reference to a criminal trespass complaint. Initial investigation revealed Tracy Nicole Moore Jr., 29 of Brenham, showed to have an active warrant for Criminal Mischief between $100 and $750. Moore was placed in custody for the active warrant. Further investigation revealed Moore was in possession of narcotics which he concealed on his person upon entering a correctional facility. Moore was additionally charged with Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Then Wednesday evening at 7:40, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West. The driver, Gabriel Ayala-Vargas, 28 of Hempstead, was operating a vehicle without a driver’s license and officers discovered he has an active warrant for his arrest for Possession Marijuana issued out of Washington County Court at Law. Vargas was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
