‘HOT NIGHTS, COOL TUNES’ OPENS WITH VARIED SELECTION OF HITS FROM THE PICTURES
“Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” opened its 20th anniversary season Saturday night in downtown Brenham.
While the weather nearly put a damper on the concert as it did with the first performance, it ultimately went off without a hitch, as The Pictures made its “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” debut. The Austin wedding band entertained crowds with a large repertoire of party music and hits through the decades.
Guests were able to enjoy food and drinks from local businesses and vendors, along with free ice cream cups from Blue Bell. They also had the opportunity to see many different types of classic vehicles and hot rods at the Stray Katz Car Club’s cruise-in.
The concert was sponsored by BRIANNAS Fine Salad Dressings, Deep in the Heart Farms, Brannon Industrial Group and Valmont Industries.
Performing this Saturday will be the Brown Sugar Band. The concert series will close out on July 27th with the Spicolis.
