BRENHAM ANIMAL SERVICES FINDS HOMES FOR 30 PETS AT MEGA ADOPTION EVENT
Brenham Animal Services helped find a new home for 30 animals during this weekend’s MEGA Adoption Event, hosted by Petco Love in Houston.
Brenham Animal Services Manager Megan Gray says 22 of its cats and 8 of its dogs were adopted. Those include the shelter’s two longest-stay dogs, Lala and Bruno, who had been at the shelter for 401 days.
A total of 1,133 animals were adopted at the two-day event, which brought in shelters and animal rescue organizations from across Texas.
Brenham Animal Services thanks the staff and volunteers who contributed their time and efforts. It also thanks Petco Love for organizing the event.
