BRENHAM-NAVASOTA SCRIMMAGE TO RAISE MONEY FOR THSCEF

The Brenham Cubs and the Navasota Rattlers will be raising money for a special cause this Thursday night when they scrimmage each other at Cub Stadium.

Entry to the scrimmage is $1 with proceeds being donated to the Texas High School Coaches Education Foundation Benevolence Fund as part of their “Our Day to Shine” program.

The Benevolence Fund was established by the Texas High School Coaches Association Board of Directors to assist athletes and coaches experiencing hardships.

To date over 1,165 schools have participated in the “Our Day to Shine” program and have raised over $721,000.  The Foundation has paid out over $641,000 to athletes and coaches in need.

The scrimmage is scheduled for a 7pm start time. The public is invited to attend.
