According to Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak, deputies responded just before noon on Wednesday to the 3600 block of Old Chappell Hill Road in reference to a weapons call.  The reporting party stated that two individuals were observed discharging weapons in the roadway, and identified the suspects’ vehicle as a black Toyota Camry.

Deputy Matthew Presswood located the reporting party, as well as spent 9mm casings at the scene.  While responding, Deputy Rosa Salinas saw a vehicle that matched the description to be parked at a business on Blue Bell Road, near the intersection of Old Chappell Hill Road.

Deputy Salinas, with the assistance of a Brenham police officer, made contact with the two occupants of the vehicle, identified as 17-year-old Ketren Lamarkes Jackson and 18-year-old Tayshun Marshall.  According to Hanak, both were confirmed to be those who were seen discharging firearms from the public roadway.
