API BASS TOURNAMENT SEPT. 13, 14 AT LAKE SOMERVILLE
The Austin Chalk chapter of the American Petroleum Institute invites anglers to their annual bass fishing tournament next weekend at Lake Somerville Marina and Campground.
The event begins with registration at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 13th. The evening will include food, beverages and prize drawings.
The tournament runs from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 14th. Prizes will go to the best teams in the open and sportsman divisions. There will also be an hourly big bass pot and overall big bass pot.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to support local charities and educational endowments.
