BRENHAM HERITAGE MUSEUM IN THE RUNNING FOR TEXAS DOWNTOWN AWARD

  

The Brenham Heritage Museum has been named as a finalist in the Texas Downtown 2024 People’s Choice Awards.

The award is for Best Renovation/Rehabilitation/Restoration in cities with less than 50,000 people. 

The museum is going up against two other finalists: the Found Fine Art Building in Bastrop and the Old Wettermark Bank Building in Nacogdoches. 

The public can vote through 5 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) by going to the Texas Downtown Facebook page and “liking” or “loving” the photo of their preferred finalist. 

Finalists from around the area in other award categories include:

  • Best Downtown Business, Over 50,000 Population – Ronin Restaurant in Bryan
  • Best Downtown Partner, Over 50,000 Population – Palace Theater in Bryan
  • Best Economic Game Changer, Under 50,000 Population – Cars and Coffee in Giddings
  • Best Economic Game Changer, Over 50,000 Population – First Friday in Bryan

The winners will be honored at an awards gala on Tuesday, October 29th during the 2024 Downtown Conference in Abilene.
