FAITH MISSION, GATHER ‘N GRACE TO SERVE THANKSGIVING MEALS
Faith Mission and Gather ‘N Grace are partnering to serve the community at their annual Thanksgiving Meal.
Free lunches will be served on Thanksgiving Day at the Cannery Kitchen in Brenham from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meals will also be delivered to those who are over 60 years old, physically disabled or homebound.
Faith Mission board member and Thanksgiving meal coordinator Dr. Heather Thielemann, speaking during Tuesday’s Community Corner on KWHI, said through the support of the public over the years, more and more people have been able to enjoy Thanksgiving food and fellowship.
This year, organizers anticipate serving around 800 meals. Meals will include turkey and gravy, dressing, cranberry sauce, yams, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, and buttermilk or pumpkin pie.
Residents requesting a homebound meal delivery can call Faith Mission at 979-830-1488 and provide their phone number, address and the number of meals needed. Dine-in meals are first come, first served.
Volunteer opportunities are still available at https://faithmission.us.
