Seth Klehm was sworn in as Precinct 2 Constable, replacing Trey Holleway as he moves to the sheriff’s office. Both Winkelmann and Klehm were unopposed in March and November.
Five returning officials who were uncontested in both the spring and fall elections were sworn in for another term. They are 21st District Court Judge Carson Campbell, County Attorney Renee Mueller, County Tax Assessor-Collector Cheryl Gaskamp, Precinct 1 Constable Ken Holle and Precinct 4 Constable Greg Rolling.
Outgoing officials were also recognized for their service to the county, including Otto Hanak, Julie Renken, Don Koester and Reva Towslee Corbett. A moment of silence was held for the late Tammy Brauner, who served nearly 30 years in the District Clerk’s Office, including over 10 as District Clerk.
Let’s hope they are all conservative with money and make wise decisions for the citizens. Less bars could be a good start. We have met the quota there.Very impressed with Mr.Kenjura he is great for Brenham.
