BRENHAM POLICE MAKE THREE WEEKEND ARRESTS

  

Brenham police reported three arrests over the weekend.

Around 8 p.m. Friday, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Highway 105.  Investigation revealed that the driver, 48-year-old Luis Ramirez of Brenham, was in possession of marijuana.  Ramirez was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz.

At 9:45 p.m. Saturday, Corporal Tina Bruno responded to the 2900 block of Wood Ridge Boulevard regarding a welfare concern.  After investigation, 34-year-old Amanda Rebecca Gallegos of Brenham was placed under arrest for Criminal Trespass.  Gallegos was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Approaching 1 a.m. Sunday, Officer Downs was dispatched to the 700 block of Muse Street for a report of a lapsed physical disturbance.  Investigation revealed that one of the subjects, identified as 25-year-old Ever Vega of Bryan, showed an active warrant for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.  Vega was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
