SEVEN SENTENCED IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT
Seven people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st District Court before Judge Carson Campbell.
27-year-old Derek Paul Klehm of Brenham, sentenced to 6 years in prison for each of 10 cases of Possession of Child Pornography, a third degree felony.
39-year-old Kerrence Lakeith McDonald of Brenham, sentenced to 3 ½ years in prison for Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle, a third degree felony, as well as 10 months in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony. Additionally, McDonald had his probation adjudicated and was sentenced to 10 months in state jail, fined $500 and ordered to pay $62 for restitution for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony.
55-year-old Dennis Wayne Moore of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years in prison for Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit Other Felony, a first degree felony, as well as a second degree felony charge of Assault Intentionally or Recklessly Impeding Breath or Circulation of a Family Member with Previous Conviction.
58-year-old Rodessa Marie Vidal of Washington, sentenced to 2 years in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender for Failure for Comply with Sex Offender’s Duty to Register, a second degree felony.
20-year-old Aaron Albert Moreno of Brenham, after serving a term in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Shock Program, was sentenced to 10 years’ probation for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a first degree felony, and Possession of Marijuana 5-50 lbs., a third degree felony. Moreno must also perform 200 hours of community service and obtain a GED certificate.
22-year-old Trevon Warrior Fennell of Manor, sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Fraudulent Possession or Use of a Credit/Debit Card 5-10, a third degree felony. Fennell was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.
60-year-old Ralph Todd Poehlmann of Brenham, sentenced to 18 months’ probation for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member, a Class A misdemeanor. Poehlmann was also fined $500, ordered to pay a $100 fee to a family violence shelter, and perform 50 hours of community service.
