NEW CANEY MAN DIES IN BRENHAM MOTORCYCLE CRASH
A New Caney man was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Brenham.
Brenham police say the accident, which involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck, occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m. at Highway 36 North and West Blue Bell Road.
The driver of the motorcycle, identified as 73-year-old Thomas Blakeney, was killed in the crash.
Details of how the accident occurred have not been provided by police, who are continuing to investigate.

if people would obey the law there would be no accidents at this intersection I have seen many people run this stop light just the other day a truck moving a double wide mobile home just shot through the light as if there was not one there Maybe some rumble strips would help couldn’t hurt It will be really bad once the convince store opens
