PEDESTRIAN KILLED AFTER BEING STRUCK BY VEHICLE IN NAVASOTA
A pedestrian was killed in an accident Tuesday night near Navasota High School.
The City of Navasota posted notice around 10:30 p.m. of authorities at the scene of a vehicle versus pedestrian accident on the westbound lanes of Highway 90. The city later confirmed that the pedestrian had died.
According to the Navasota Examiner, the accident occurred east of the high school in the 8700 block of Highway 90. First responders found a male in a ditch on the side of the highway and began life-saving measures, but he was ultimately pronounced deceased.
The name of the victim has not been released, pending family notification.
