WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS PHASE II OF EXTERIOR COURTHOUSE RESTORATION, ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
Washington County Commissioners will take up talks on Tuesday regarding the county’s restoration project for the exterior of the courthouse.
Commissioners will discuss and possibly act on the scope of services and an updated cost estimate for the second phase of the project. After that, they will look to advertise for project bids, to be due to the county on August 7th.
In April, the county approved a funding agreement with the Texas Historical Commission (THC) for the administration of grant funds to the county to rehabilitate and restore the courthouse property. The county is using a mix of grant funds and local dollars for the project.
The only other non-routine item on the agenda is a quarterly report from the Washington County Extension Office.
Commissioners will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
