BRENHAM CUB BAND ADVANCES TO STATE MARCHING COMPETITION
The Brenham Cub Band has qualified for the state marching contest.
At the UIL Conference 5A State Marching Band Qualifiers this past weekend, Brenham finished sixth place out of 26 in the preliminaries and fifth place out of 12 in the finals. The top six teams advance to state.
The State Preliminaries will take place on Monday, November 10th at 5:30 p.m. at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The top 12 bands will then compete in the State Finals on Tuesday, November 11th.
Band Director Eric Rettig says, “The hours these kids put in to be excellent and their Cub Band family bond has allowed them to achieve at a high level.”
Brenham ISD congratulates all of the students on their accomplishment and encourages supporters to fill the Alamodome with Cub Green and cheer on the band.
