TxDOT TO BEGIN SIDEWALK WORK ALONG BUSINESS 36 IN BRENHAM
TxDOT is preparing to start up construction on a sidewalk project along Business 36 in Brenham.
TxDOT says work consisting of adding and upgrading sidewalks from Main Street to Highway 290 will begin on Monday, weather permitting.
Drivers are advised to pay attention to traffic control, work zone messaging, and workers along the roadway. They should plan for extra travel time through the area while it is undergoing construction.
The $2.3 million sidewalk project is contracted to JFO Services, LLC and is expected to be complete by the end of 2026.
