WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO VOTE FRIDAY ON BURN BAN
Washington County Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Friday to consider enacting a burn ban.
If approved, the order restricting outdoor burning would become effective at noon on Friday.
Several counties around the region, including Austin, Burleson, Fayette and Lee counties, are under burn ban due to prolonged dry conditions.
Commissioners will meet Friday at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
