BRENHAM ISD LAUNCHING NEXT ROUND OF STRATEGIC PLANNING DISCUSSIONS

board on Monday that the next phase of strategic
planning committee discussions is getting
underway.
Superintendent Clay Gillentine reported to the Brenham School Board on Monday that a meeting with the district’s strategic planning committee would be held on Tuesday. The group’s discussion will build off of the committee’s work last year that culminated in the passage of propositions to increase employee pay and take care of deferred maintenance needs around the district.
Gillentine said the next round of work will focus on what certain facilities need to look like, specifically referencing CTE programs and the junior high campus, in order to properly support students.
Gillentine said he is excited to get the new dialogue underway and plans to keep the board and community updated as those conversations continue.
