The free concert is set for Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Brenham High School Auditorium.

The U.S. Air Force Concert Band and Singing Sergeants are two of the six performing ensembles within the U.S. Air Force Band.  The groups perform across the country and globally, honoring those who have served and inspiring citizens.

1st Lieutenant Jay Sconyers, who serves as Flight Commander for the Air Force Concert Band, says the concert will feature “a little bit of everything for everyone”, including patriotic tunes such as America’s National March and “God Bless America”, as well as rousing pieces and songs from iconic films.

Sconyers says every time the bands perform, it is someone’s first time or only time to have that experience, so he appreciates the opportunity to connect with communities everywhere.

The concert is free and open to the public.  Tickets are required, but guests will not be turned away as long as seats remain available.

Tickets can be reserved by going online to https://music.af.mil
