WINNERS ANNOUNCED IN DOWNTOWN BRENHAM SPRING EGGS ART WALK

  

Main Street Brenham has revealed the winners of the 2026 Spring Eggs Art Walk.

The creators of seven decorated eggs in downtown Brenham will receive cash prizes.

The winner of Best in Show and the $250 grand prize sponsored by Cadence Bank is “Once Upon An Egg – Spring Has Hatched!” by Cathy Channing.

Prizes of $150 were awarded in student and adult age divisions with three categories each: Most Creative, Most Votes and Best Easter Theme.

Students –

• Most Creative: “Splash” by Zach Cooper (prize sponsored by Kona Ice of Bellville and Brenham)
• Most Votes: “A Hatchitude of Gratitude” by Center Stage Performance Team (prize sponsored by Must Be Heaven)
• Best Easter Theme: “The ECLC is ‘Eggcellent’”! by Pre-K Students of the ECLC (prize sponsored by Danny & Darla Myers)

Adults –

• Most Creative: “Light Shine Bright” by Brenham Next (prize sponsored by Kruse Village)
• Most Votes: “Brenham’s Raw Water Stor-egg Tank” by Strand Associates, Inc. with Kaylie Raack (prize sponsored by KTEX/KWHI)
• Best Easter Theme: “’Egglectic’ Easter Basket” by Cindy Spallone (prize sponsored by Schleider Furniture & Mattress Co.)

Main Street Brenham will reach out to the winners and sponsors to coordinate times to take photos and distribute prize checks.

An online auction for the eggs remains open at https://downtownbrenham.com/springeggs through Monday at 11:45 p.m.  Proceeds will be split between the egg artist and Main Street Brenham.
