WASHINGTON CO. WANTS YOUR PHOTOS FOR WEBSITE REDESIGN
Washington County is looking to residents for their help in sharing what makes the community special.
The county is working on a new website and invites citizens to submit photos to be featured on the website. From scenic views and local events to historic landmarks and everyday life, the county says it wants to showcase its unique beauty, people and moments.
Photos can be sent by email to countyjudge@washingtoncountytx.gov, or posted in the comments of the county’s social media post announcing the initiative. Photos are due by Tuesday, April 28th.
One selected photo will be recognized at a Washington County Commissioners Court meeting in May.
By submitting a photo, citizens grant the county permission to use the image on its website, social media and other official county materials.
Guidelines for capturing photos include:
- Minimum photo width: 2200 pixels
- File size: approximately 1 MB or larger
- Resolution: 72 dpi or higher
- File types: JPEG, JPG, TIFF, PSD, or PNG
- Color mode: RGB or CMYK
