HOSTYN CHURCH TO HOST MAYFEST CELEBRATION

  

The Queen of the Holy Rosary Church in Hostyn is inviting the public to their upcoming Mayfest celebration.

The celebration is going to be on Sunday, May 3. The church is located at 936 FM 2436, or six miles south of La Grange off of Highway 77.

The day’s festivities will begin with a mass being held outdoors under the tent at 10am.

They are then going to be serving a Hostyn-Style Dinner featuring barbecue pork and sausage with all the trimmings for $15 a plate.

Those planning to attend can get their meals dine-in until 1pm, or to go until 12:30pm. The Mayfest will also have hamburgers available after 3pm.

Musical entertainment is going to be provided by Texas Sound Check and the Czechaholics, plus a magic show will be performed at 3pm.

Other activities include an auction, bingo, games, a country store, drawings, a silent auction, a cake wheel, a plant wheel, a balloon artist, and a jigsaw puzzle booth.
