BRENHAM JUNIOR HIGH BAND HAS STRONG OUTING AT SOLO FESTIVAL
Members of the Brenham Junior High School Band earned high marks on Saturday at a solo festival held at the junior high campus.
At the festival, each student was responsible for learning and performing a solo for a judge. Over 240 students participated.
A total of 168 Brenham band students earned an Excellent rating, while 43 students received a Good rating.
Additionally, judges recognized students who demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and musicality by awarding 52 Outstanding Performance certificates.
Brenham ISD and the band directors say they are “incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by these 7th and 8th grade students.”
