“ROCK THE COUNTRY” COMING TO BELLVILLE THIS WEEKEND

  

Thousands of people will be converging on Bellville this weekend for the “Rock the Country” two-day concert event.

“Rock the Country”, which is a celebration of America’s 250th Birthday, will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Austin County Fairgrounds.

Friday’s lineup will be headlined by Jason Aldean, and he will be joined by Ella Langley, Chase Matthew, Shenandoah, Josh Meloy, Josh Ward, Gammon Fremin and CCREV, Gracee Shriver, and Tommy Acker.

Saturday’s lineup will be headlined by Kid Rock, and he will be joined by Brantley Gilbert, Aaron Lewis and the Stateliners, Diamond Rio, Tanner Usrey, the Logan Ryan Band, Jackson Wendall, Connor Ricks, and Callie Prince.

Marketing Manager Temple Ricky told the Bellville Times, as far as preparations go, so far everything is going according to plan.

On both days, parking will open beginning at 12 noon, the gates will open at 1:30pm, and the first performer takes the stage at 2:15pm.

Organizers say that bags do not have to be clear, but visitors are warned that they will be searched at entry.

Items allowed into the festival include: empty reusable water bottles and two factory sealed water bottles per person, cellphones and cellphone chargers, sealed packs of cigarettes and cigars, vape pens and e-cigarettes, one chair per person, non-aerosol sunscreen, and empty personal sized soft bag coolers.

Items not allowed include weapons of any kind, outside food and drinks, tents or umbrellas, wagons, laser pointers, chains, chain wallets, spikes, illegal substances, animals or pets (unless they are a service animal), fireworks or explosives, flags, walkie talkies, two-way radios, video cameras, and recording equipment.
