BRENHAM PD MAKES BOOKINGS FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY WARRANT, POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, DWI
Brenham police reported the arrests of four people over the weekend on charges including intoxication and possession of a controlled substance, as well as a booking for a child pornography warrant.
On Friday, Officer Rosa Salinas completed a prisoner transport from the Dallas County Jail. Police say the transport was conducted in reference to an active warrant from an investigation stemming from this past December. The subject, identified as 40-year-old Bruce Timothy Wilson Jr. of Rowlett, was being held in Dallas County for an active warrant out of the Brenham Police Department for Possession with Intent to Promote Child Pornography. Wilson was booked into the Washington County Jail for his warrant.
Around 12:45 a.m. Saturday, Officer LeDarion Jenkins responded to the 500 block of Highway 290 West regarding a welfare concern. A caller reported a male subject was passed out in the drive-thru of a business. Upon arrival and after investigation, police placed the subject, 38-year-old Anthony Louis Jackson of Hempstead, into custody for Driving While Intoxicated. Jackson was taken to the Washington County Jail.
A few minutes after 2:30 a.m., Officer Darrell Nunn Jr. initiated a stop on a vehicle that police say had traveled through a crash scene actively being investigated near the 1400 block of Highway 36 North. The subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of 30-year-old Anna Eli of Castle Rock, Colorado for Interference with Public Duties and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 1-4 Grams.
Just past 10:30 p.m. Sunday, K9 Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 900 block of Highway 290 West. Police say their investigation revealed that the driver and passenger were wanted out of Harris County. 46-year-old Theodis Tibbs of Houston was taken into custody for a warrant of Driving While Intoxicated – Blood Alcohol Content 0.15 or Greater. 36-year-old Latoya Gipson of Houston was taken into custody for a warrant of Tampering with a Government Record.
