WASHINGTON CO. FAIR AWARDS OVER $135,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS
Twenty-eight Washington County seniors were presented today (Tuesday) with $135,023 in scholarships from the Washington County Fair.
The seniors received the awards at this morning’s annual Scholarship Breakfast. The scholarships include the Washington County Fair Scholarship, Bucket Calf Mentor Scholarship, Champion Drive Buddy Scholarship and the Queen Candidate Scholarship.
The recipients will attend nine different colleges and universities, and they have chosen a variety of fields of study such as agriculture, health, business and education.
Washington County Fair President Ricky Bosse says, “We are incredibly proud of all that our 2026 scholars have achieved. Supporting and celebrating outstanding youth in our community through scholarships like this is one of the greatest privileges of our organization.”
