SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES ARRESTS FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT WARRANT, DEADLY CONDUCT, FAMILY ASSAULT
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported three bookings on Thursday.
Approaching 2 p.m., deputies executed an arrest warrant in the 1900 block of FM 389. 34-year-old Allen Douglas Mira of Brenham was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was charged with Sexual Assault.
Just before 3 p.m., Deputy Matthew Brown served active warrants on 51-year-old Michael Wayne Perkins of Washington, who was at the sheriff’s office regarding another matter. Perkins was booked into jail on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and two counts of Deadly Conduct.
Around 4:15 p.m., deputies responded to a reckless driver call at Highway 290 East and Bluebonnet Boulevard. Upon making contact, a male subject alleged that his wife had assaulted him and pushed him out of their vehicle. After further investigation, 45-year-old Jennifer Lynn Strahan of Beaumont was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
