BRENHAM POLICE MAKE ARRESTS FOR WARRANTS, MARIJUANA POSSESSION, PUBLIC INTOXICATION
Brenham police arrested three people on Monday and two early this (Tuesday) morning.
Shortly after 3 p.m. Monday, Officer Eric Crosby was dispatched to the 1800 block of Longwood Drive in reference to a complainant. Upon investigation, police determined that 28-year-old Jameshu Moore of Brenham had an active warrant for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. Moore was taken into custody for the warrant without incident and transported to the Washington County Jail.
A few minutes after 3:15 p.m., Lieutenant Kelvin Raven responded to the 500 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a warrant service. Upon arrival, police made contact with 19-year-old Ketren Jackson of Brenham, who was confirmed to have two active warrants issued out of Harris County. The warrants were for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Evading Arrest. Jackson was placed into custody for the warrants without incident and taken to the Washington County Jail.
Around 8:30 p.m., Officer Stephen Mosley responded to the 100 block of West Main Street in reference to a complainant. Police say their investigation revealed that 60-year-old Floyd Schulz Jr. of Brenham was intoxicated in a public place. Schulz was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Just past 12:30 a.m. today, Officer Mosley stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of South Day Street for a traffic violation. According to police, the driver and passenger were both in possession of marijuana. 18-year-old Anaya Simone Graves of Brenham and 19-year-old Kelsi Lashay Pruett of Brenham were taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and booked at the Washington County Jail.
