INDEPENDENCE COMMUNITY EVENTS, H-E-B DONATING $5,000 TOWARD ‘STARS OVER WASHINGTON COUNTY’
While the town of Independence will not be holding its own Fourth of July celebration this year, it is contributing toward Washington County’s planned event.
Independence Community Events announced on social media on Friday that the organization has partnered with H-E-B to donate $5,000 toward the Stars Over Washington County fireworks show.
Independence Community Events encourages the community to join in the countywide celebration and commemorate the historic 250th anniversary of the United States of America. It also thanks all those who have attended and supported the Independence Fourth of July events in past years and says it looks forward to being back next year.
