BLUEBONNET GARDEN CLUB JULY YARD OF THE MONTH
The Bluebonnet Garden Club is pleased to announce the July Yard of the Month has been awarded to Tracie and Bill Moran at 403 Ross Street in Brenham.
The Morans have created in their yard a beautiful and patriotic tribute to America’s celebration on July 4th of its 250th year anniversary. The extensive flower beds in front are filled with red and white New Guinea impatiens and blue spiderworts. The front walk is framed by two large pots filled with red blooming Maule Quince plants.
Along one side of the house an ornamental iron archway introduces a welcoming path bordered by Sunshine pittosporum shrubs and cast iron plants. This pathway leads to an entrance into the back yard framed by two brick columns atop which are large pots of orange blooming firecracker plants.
Several mature oak trees shade all the flower beds and pathway. The patriotic theme throughout the yard is stunningly complemented by numerous American flag buntings draped on the porch railings along the front and side of the house.
The club has presented the Morans with a gift certificate to Plants 'N Things in Brenham.
