AREA ATHLETES COMPETING THIS WEEKEND AT THE TGCA ALL-STAR GAMES

The Texas Girls Coaches Association is having their All-Star Weekend. Several area schools will get to watch their students take part in Volleyball, Softball, Basketball, Cross Country, and Track & Field.

The All-Star Games are going be held Friday and Saturday in Arlington. There will be two games at each level, a 1A-4A All Star Game and a 5A-6A All Star Game.

In Volleyball, Addison Holloman of Bellville and Cami Hoyle of Iola will be playing on the 1A-4A Red Team. Delaney Wright of Montgomery will be playing on the 5A-6A Blue Team.

For Softball, Taylor Akin of Lexington is on the 1A-4A Red Team. Annalise Torres of Lake Creek is on the 5A-6A Blue Team.

In Basketball, Campbell Cooper of La Grange is playing on the 1A-4A Red Team, while her Head Coach at La Grange, Ryan O’Neal, is going to be the Head Coach of the 1A-4A Blue Team.

For Cross Country, Rowen Skinner of A&M Consolidated is on the 5A-6A Blue Team.

And finally, for Track & Field, Macie Collier of La Grange, Ava Poenitzch of Bellville, and Amaya Randhawa of Navasota are going to be teammates on the 1A-4A Red Team. Hayden Helms of A&M Consolidated is going to be on the 5A-6A BlueTeam.
