BLINN HOLDING A RETIREMENT RECEPTION FOR CHURCH AND JOHNSON

Family, friends, faculty, and staff are invited to attend a retirement reception on Tuesday, August 18, for two Blinn Head Coaches that are calling it a career.

Blinn announced that Head Softball Coach Rick Church and Head Golf Coach David Johnson have decided to retire.

Church is Blinn's longest tenured Head Coach, having just completed his 27th season with the softball program. Johnson, who has over 40 years of coaching experience, started the Blinn Men's and Women's Golf programs back in 2019.

The retirement reception is Tuesday from 1-4pm in the multi-purpose room of the Blinn STEI (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Innovation) Building.
